For my Brian, I think of you
everyday. I miss your smiles,
hugs and kisses, your boy smell
and your jokes. I know that
you are happy in heaven with
all of the other children who
have suffered like you. You
are all healthy and "cancer
free". Please know that
here on Earth people like those
involved with Prayers From Maria
are doing all they can to help
find cures for these deadly
Gliomas.
I
ask the following of all our
little angels in Heaven and
our Lord. Watch over all those
involved with the foundation
and bless the researchers
and doctors so that they can
find the cure soon. And most
of all bring comfort and strength
to the children and their
families who are fighting
their battles right now.
To
all our angels: You are in
our hearts forever.

She was the light of my life.
She got her wings on January

all the other beautiful angels.
My prayers go out to all of
the parents and children still
batteling with this horrible
disease. I would do anything
to find a cure for this.

Our
hearts and prayers go out to
all the families living this
nightmare. Sophie,
and all of these children, will
be remembered for the spiritual
journey they sent so many hundreds
of people on. They will remain
with us forever.
Thank
you so much for sharing your
story and experience throughout
this year. We were acquainted
with your plight through Joseph's
second grade teacher, Mrs. Segetti.
We have paid close attention
to your website, the links and
all of the updates. Although
we have never met personally,
I can't tell you how much Sophie
and your family have touched
us. We prayed so hard everyday
and night for your miracle,
and now we still pray very hard
night and day for any type of
recovery, comfort, and peace
for your broken hearts. I would
also like to thank you for including
that precious video of your
girl singing and dancing. She
certainly was beautiful and
sweet and now that you have
shared her with the rest of
us, we too, will remember and
think of her as the happy, spunky,
cute little girl that has touched
the heart of the world.

Fly free, all our children...........
watch over your parents. Help
them to feel peace, love, strength,
and unity. Show them how to
make a difference no matter
how small so that some day they
will smile again. You all are

This site leaves me speechless.
I guess it's our job to all
DO SOMETHING about this horror,
to help in whatever way we
can,so that SOMEDAY a little
angel will survive this MONSTER
and go on to LIVE!
My thoughts and prayers go out to all families ever touched by the horror of pediatric brain tumors. I will continue to work and pray for cures. I know the pain. God be with our children and especially the parents who suffer the most of all.
Maria,
In my life time, I never thought
I would witness a true miracle.
I can now say I have and it
is Maria. Thank you Maria for
shining the Holy Spirit upon
all of us.

With Maria's passing I'm reminded
the struggles that these children
go through everyday, These
children show more courage
and strength then any other
adult I know. I pray for all
of the families that have
lost their children, and pray
for those who are still battling
with their disease. These
children remind me that the
little mundane tasks that
I may complain of are nothing
compared to what they have
and will go through. Please
know each and every one of
you are in my thoughts and
prayers everyday.
Maria, your miracle was the
number of people you brought
together to pray for you and
for other children afflicted
with this terrible disease.
You touched so many lives -
a great many more than an average
7 year-old would. Soar high,
Maria, and fly free! A beautiful
new angel has joined Heaven's
ranks. Stay with your family
always. God truly blessed this
earth with one little girl named
Maria McNamara.
May the beautiful sunflower
Maria ask God to cure this terrible
disease and may Maria look down
on all the other children and
watch over them. You
will be missed Maria McNamara....forever.

Hi you all are in our thoughts
and prayers. My daughter Dasia
was diagnosed with a Diffuse
Pontine Glioma on 3-23-05. And
I just recently found these
sites all this time I never
knew all this was here. I keep
you all in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless You!
What a wonderful blessing this
site has created. My heart and
prayers go out to ALL the CHILDREN
and their FAMILIES who have
encountered this deadly monster!!!!
I pray everyday that a cure
is found-PLEASE GOD, SAVE THE
CHILDREN. I miss you so much,
my precious "TRENIE".
You were so brave-when the rest
of us were in dispair. May GODS
arms guide your wings to everlasting
peace. I LOVE YOU!!!
We will always carry apart of
you in our hearts princess Kenzie
and every time we see a rainbow
we will think of you sliding
down to play with your twin
sister Abbie. We love you...

What a beautiful site you have
created so that all of these
children's stories may be heard
and that all the children lost
can live on. I continue to pray
for all children that have to
battle such a horrible monster.
We miss you Kate!
You are my hero.
We can't thank you enough for
what you've done, and continue
to do for Marc, Emily, Sophie,
Sarah, us, and all the children
whose stories are recorded.
Being able to read other children's
stories allows us to have a
greater understanding of what
to expect and how to deal with
our emotions. This entire site
makes us realize that we are
not alone, and it gives us the
opportinity to share our story
with others.
If it weren't for your kindness
and guidance, we'd still be
floundering. You have helped
tremendously. We will pray for
you, Maria,
and all those haunted by this
terrible illness. May God bless
you and your family.

Ed and Megan (and all the McNamaras;
Maria,
Dartanian, Babbaganush and Little
Man) - Just wanted to say thank
you very much for all that you've
done to bring everyone up to
speed on all your hard work
and letting us piggy-back on
your hard won knowledge on behalf
of Sophie
and the Quayles. Sarah and I
along with Frank and Susie (Emily's
parents) are going to Memphis
tomorrow with the little one
and a car for Mark and Emily.
From there, Sarah and I are
going home to Florida and we'll
probably be there a while before
our next trip. You guys have
been such a help to Mark and
Emily (and the rest of the family
lingering around here last week)
and we all appreciate your endless
answers and great help in geting
Sophie's
site up and running.
Maria left her artwork here
last week, but it will be in
good hands if she wants it back
and on a wall if she doesn't.
Expect more from us in the future
on any combined efforts in this
area, and please, don't hesitate
to ask anything at all of us
if we can help you out in any
way. If the boys are into airplane
stuff, please let me know and
maybe I can swing some squadron
patches or shirts or something.
Thanks again!

Thank you for the information provided in this website. As a family, we read through it and learned a lot more about gliomas. This provides a safe place for families to go when faced with such devastating news. It also helps family and friends that want to help, while feeling so helpless. Thank you for sharing so many personal stories. Our prayers are endless.
Thank you for this site... Our
