My
Story
"During Cameo's battle with this
awful tumor we kept her comfortable
at home as she was visited by friends
and family. We had the help of Seacoast
Hospice in place days after comming
home from the hospital. We chose not
to do radiation treatment to allow
Cameo to live as normal life as possible
during the time she had left. Her
principal and teachers brought school
to Cameo when she became to ill to
attend. Her principal or teacher came
daily to read books to keep Cameo
involved in school. We had 9 weeks
with Cameo from the day we found out
she had a pontine brain stem glioma."
