As an attorney in New York Community Bancorp, Inc.'s Litigation Group, John handles litigation and dispute resolution matters across the company, addressing a variety of issues, including lending and debt collection practices, contested foreclosures, employee relations, and vendor management. NYCB is the holding company for New York Community Bank, serving customers throughout New York, New Jersey, Florida, Ohio and Arizona, and New York Commercial Bank.

Prior to joining NYCB in 2013, John was an attorney in the Business Litigation Group of Roetzel & Andress, LPA, where he focused his practice on complex litigation at both the trial and appellate court levels. He previously served as a law clerk to Magistrate Judge George J. Limbert in the United States District Court of Ohio. John received his B.A. from Northwestern University in 1996, and his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1999.
