Nick Berente is the Viola D. Hank Associate Professor of IT, Analytics, and Operations at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. He received  his PhD and MBA from Case Western Reserve University, his BSBA from John  Carroll University, and conducted his postdoctoral studies at the  University of Michigan. He is a former technology entrepreneur, principal investigator on multiple projects funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), and has published more than one hundred  peer-reviewed articles in academic journals and conferences. Nick lives in South Bend, Indiana, with his wife, Michele, and their three children.
