Keegan Keaney

August 7, 2023 - September 23, 2023

Keegan Thomas Keaney was born on August 7, 2023. He was 7 lbs, 7 oz, born at 7:25 pm. We were told by so many how lucky he must be because of all of the 7s associated with his birth. He passed just shy of 7 weeks old and we learned he had an aggressive and cancerous brain tumor on his right temporal lobe that caused his heart and lungs to stop in his sleep. To say we woke up devastated is an understatement.

Keegan had the sweetest little grin and dimples. His eyes would follow his two older sisters around the room. They were absolutely enamored with him from day one; everyone loved him! We ache daily to hold him in our arms again. We think about what he'd be doing right now- what trouble he'd be waddling into and how many times his older sisters would have mothered him like the little doll they thought he was. While the ache will never fade, we have found light in the darkness of his passing thanks to the love and support of family and friends. We feel the warmth of his love and light every day and know that he is watching over all of his sisters from up above. While others told us how lucky he would be, we know that we are the lucky ones for getting to experience his love for the time we had with him, and the love he continues to pour down on us.
