Maria is a graduate of The Ohio State University. Born and raised in Rocky River, Ohio, the Prayers From Maria Story was always close to home, sparking her dedication to the service of others. This drove her to establish ongoing fundraising for children’s cancer research in Rocky River City Schools, reaffirming her belief in the power of community and encouraging her to always seek opportunities to make a difference. Maria’s diverse experience in customer service and marketing communications further pulled her towards humanitarian work. She finds joy and fulfillment in spreading goodness to others alongside people who share a common purpose. Maria continues to be deeply moved by the stories of children and their families who have endured the pain of childhood cancer. She is grateful to now play a role in the Prayers From Maria Foundation, in the hopes of helping other wonderful people whose lives have been impacted by this illness.
