PPM1D mutations are oncogenic drivers of de novo diffuse midline glioma formation

Our 500K Abby Streszoff Memorial Grant recipients, Dr. Mimi Bandopadhayay and Dr. Tim Phoenix, have published their first paper in Nature Communications! The paper reports their findings on PPM1D mutations in pediatric high-grade gliomas, and potential ways to target these mutations with precision medicine approaches for DIPG and DMG deadly brain tumors.
